THEN....I was hired as a part-time teacher. I wasn't able to take my photography class. I haven't been posting on this blog. It's CRAZY!!
My life now consists of my family, the Deaf ministry at my church, my part-time job as a Video Relay Interpreter and now......
I am teaching 4 high school classes: ASL 100 (2 classes), ASL 200 and ASL 300. Yep. And do I know exactly what I am doing? No. Not really! Ha! But I'm getting there. It takes me a LONG time to create lesson plans, mainly since we do not have a set curriculum.
That is what my current situation is at this time. I miss my blog world though. And my new bloggy friends :(
After things settle, I will be back!

I've missed talking with you too! Things have been CRAZY here! lol
We just kinda fell into this new house thing.....it's like it's meant to be. My inlaws were able to help us with a gift to make up for some of the downpayment money we didn't have because of the lay-off......my parents are going to co-sign for the mortgage for the next year or two, as Rick hasn't been back to work long enough to get one on our own! But this house is like, a once in a lifetime opportunity.....and it's right next to my Mom and Dad!!!!!
I'm so happy for you and your new job! I know you must feel overwhelmed and crazy busy.....gotta take my hat off to you though. I don't know how you do it with Highschoolers! I can't handle a large group of anyone over the age of 6! I'm sorry your hubby hasn't had any luck yet, but it will come. Is there any training he'd qualify for in the meantime? That's what Rick did, and if he hadn't, he wouldn't have qualified for the job he wound up getting!
As for my photography business, it's chugging along! I've got a few family sessions set up, and two weddings in the next year so far. I did one wedding last month too, as a favor for a photographer friend who accidentally double booked herself! She's trying to help me along.
Other than that, I'm currently taking Faith's other photography class.....I finished her dslr one, and now I'm doing her simply photography one. I'd like to find another affordable one to sign up for after this! Really, I'm just loving learning all about photography...it's where my heart is!
